Odenwald, Teil 1 - Odenwald, Part 1

Am Samstag haben wir mit dem Mandolinenclub einen Ausflug in den Odenwald gemacht. Wir waren im Elfenbeinmuseum, der Schmucker Brauerei und in Michelstadt. Die Bilder davon zeige ich euch in meinem nächsten Post.

On Saturday we've made a trip to the Odenwald with the mandolin club. We visited the ivory museum, the private brewery Schmucker and Michelstadt. The pictures of it I will show you in my next post.

Für Freunde und Verwandte - For friends and relatives

Die zwei Tassen habe ich für die Nichte und den Neffen einer Kollegin bemalt. Ich hoffe, dass sie den beiden gefallen. Den großen Teller mit den Blumen habe ich meiner Mutter geschenkt. Sie war sehr begeistert, was mich natürlich gefreut hat.

These two mugs I've painted for the niece and the nephew of a colleague. I hope both of them will like them. The big plate with the flowers I gave my mother for a present. She was very enthusiastic. That made me of course very happy.

Nein, nein, es ist noch nicht Weihnachten, aber ich war einfach in der Stimmung für meinen Schatz und mich zwei Teller und eine kleine Schüssel weihnachtlich zu bemalen. Ihr wisst ja, Weihnachten kommt schneller, als man denkt! ;o)

No, no, it's not christmas yet but I was just in the mood to paint two plates and a little bowl christmassy for my honey and myself. As you know, christmas is coming faster than you think! ;o)
